Same day blood testing in London. The questions our customers often ask

Getting a blood test can be a painful process. Not because of the needles, but because of the time it takes to arrange. From GP waiting times to referral lists, the overstretched NHS can make getting access to health information for non-emergencies, difficult.

If you’re taking steps to improve your health, you want to be able to get started as soon as possible. This is why our central London walk in blood test clinic is a great alternative. With our same-day service, you can book the right test for you online and turn up for your appointment on the same day. Simple.

So, what does the process involve? What tests can you book and how long do results take? These are some of the questions our customers often ask. We’ve collected the answers to those, and more, below:

What is the process for getting a blood test?

It’s very simple. Select and order the blood test you need from our menu online. Once you’ve ordered your test, simply visit our Central London location for your blood draw. Then wait for your results which will be sent to you via email.

How long does it take to get the results?

This depends on the test you have chosen. Some are faster than others, but the turnaround times are listed in the test information. If, for any reason, it takes longer for you to receive your results than stated, you will be protected by our Express Results Guarantee, which will refund you if your results are late.

Do I get a copy of my results?

You will receive a PDF copy of your laboratory certificate via email which can be printed. If you would like a paper copy, let us know and we will post one out to you.

What is the difference between reported and unreported results?

Reported results are sent to our GP for comment. This process can take up to two working days to complete in addition to the stated turnaround time for results.

If you choose unreported results, they won’t contain comments from our GP and will be sent directly to you. This is advisable if you already have a specialist to share the results with or can interpret them yourself. In the event of any results being of a critical nature we will always be in contact to make you aware of this.
